To our Transient Boating Guests,
We currently plan to continue in full operation and are open to transient guest dockage. In light of Coronavirus COVID-19, we want to keep you informed of our actions and dedication to help prevent the spread of the virus. We are taking this matter very seriously for the well-being of our employees, customers, and community. We urge common sense precautions and the use of sound judgement to help us in preventing the spread of the virus including social distancing (6ft), frequent hand washing, hand sanitation, cleaning of public areas such as the bathrooms, and the cleaning of work surfaces and equipment. Additionally, our employees are expected to follow CDC published guidelines (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/downloads/workplace-school-and-home-guidance.pdf) and will be required to stay home and seek medical attention if ill.
If you are ill or experiencing symptoms, please anchor out and self-quarantine on your vessel for 14 days before coming into the marina. If you require medical assistance, please contact our office by phone 804-776-6800 or email: info@fishingbay.com .
We ask for your assistance in this matter as well to take extra precautions and follow CDC protocol. While you are visiting our facilities please use the precautions we have listed above as well as the Federal and State governments’ advice regarding social distancing. Here is a link to the President’s Coronavirus Guidelines for America.
We appreciate your cooperation in working with us to prevent the spread of this virus, and greatly look forward to warmer weather and a wonderful boating season. We will continue to monitor the developments in the situation and update as necessary.
Regards,
The Farinholt Brothers and crew at Fishing Bay Marina
